Step 1: Create an API key in CohrEx

1. In CohrEx, open Settings → Organization → Integrations.
2. Find the Teamtailor card.

1. Click Enable. A confirmation modal appears explaining that an API key will be created.

1. Click Create API Key. CohrEx will display a one-time preview of the credentials:
   • Client ID — identifies your CohrEx tenant.
   • API Key — secret key, shown only once.

1. Copy both the Client ID and API Key immediately and store them somewhere secure (a password manager is ideal). You will not be able to view the API Key again after closing this window — if it is lost, you have to disable the integration and create a new one.

Step 2: Install the CohrEx partner integration in Teamtailor

1. In Teamtailor, sign in as an admin and open Marketplace (sometimes labelled Apps).
2. Search for CohrEx and open the partner page.

1. Click Activate. Teamtailor will display the activation form for the CohrEx integration. The form requests the following:
   • Client ID — paste the value you copied from CohrEx.
   • Client Secret — paste the API Key you copied from CohrEx.
   • Language — pick the language you want for recruiter-facing content.

1. Click Validate credentials. Teamtailor will call CohrEx's validation endpoint. If the credentials are correct, click Update to complete the activation.

The integration is now active. You can move on to using it on individual jobs.

Troubleshooting activation

• "Teamtailor integration in CohrEx has been revoked" error in Teamtailor: the API key was disabled on the CohrEx side. Open Settings → Organization → Integrations, disable the integration, then create a new API key and re-activate in Teamtailor.
• "Invalid credentials" error in Teamtailor: the Client ID or API Key is wrong. Either try again with the correct credentials, or generate a new pair in CohrEx and re-enter them in Teamtailor.
• You cannot find the API Key after closing the preview: the API Key is only shown once. Disable the integration in CohrEx and create a new one. </aside>
